Between Worlds
Writing, Travelling, Telling

Welcome.
My name is Antonio Chiconi, and this site was created as a landing place — an essential showcase to bring clarity to my various activities. Over time, my interests have branched out: from hospitality to travel writing, from food to spirituality, from Asian cultures to the exploration of new technologies connected to service and human relationships. To give each of these worlds the space and voice they deserve, I’ve chosen to keep them distinct: one site for storytelling and narrative (The Liminal Travel), one for hospitality and food culture (Mister Godfrey), and this one — to hold the threads together. If you’ve made it this far, feel free to choose where to go next.
City Bites

City Bites isn’t a guide, nor an invitation to tick off Michelin-starred restaurants or monuments on a checklist. It’s more of a jaded notebook, a mosaic of impressions, flavours, memories and contradictions that emerge while walking through streets that can be both dazzling and decaying. Every city — even the most photographed — has a shadow side, and more often than not, that’s where its real character hides.

Songthaew
Songthaew is a (more or less) monthly column written by someone who lives in Thailand — works there, eats there, sweats there — and occasionally takes the time to just observe. It’s not a guide for spiritual tourists, nor the diary of an enthusiastic expat: it’s a sideways journey, full of contradictions, urban details, bold flavors, and scattered thoughts.
